Description
The BushBoep Echo Griller concept began when Jean discovered a vintage oven in a shop selling old items. Jean loves wondering around in old vintage shops. He saw a small old oven used back in the days to warm up the old steel irons to iron clothes. Excited by the idea, he contacted his dear friend Flippie Venter, known for his creativity and skill with steel. Together they managed to create this awesome multi purpose griller. We are proud of another unique Boepensie product.
Cooking Instructions:
- NB: Apply Olive Oil/Sunflower Oil before and after use.
- Apply a small amount of olive oil to the sides or spray cooking oil before starting the fire.
- Start by adding a fire lighter and small wooden sticks, followed by 3 moderate pieces of wood or charcoal.
- Wait until all materials are well lit.
- For 1st time use let the braai warm up and burn for at least half an hour before use. To make sure the paint is burnt into the braai.
- Grilling can begin approximately 15 minutes after the fire is well lit, even while flames are still present.
- Grilling can continue until the coals are burned out.
- Add moderate amounts of wood or charcoal if the fire cools down during cooking.
- Excellent heat distribution allows for simultaneous grilling of meat and fat, resulting in a brilliant sear.
- Suitable for grilling all types of meats, serving 5 to 6 people when grilling on the top.
- For larger quantities, the BushBoep can be turned over for bottom grilling, accommodating 8 to 10 people.
- Can keep meats warm by placing a casserole on top.
- The top side can also accommodate kettles or pots for warming liquids.
- Retains warmth for over 1 hour after the wood is burning well, allowing for extended grilling sessions.

How to clean:
- Use some extra wood piece or two to burn the fat off braai.
- Wipe with wet cloth.
- Wait until completely cooled down and ashes cold then brush out ashes.
- Please put olive oil on to prevent rust and for protection.
- You can use Clean Green with soft scourer.
